Having been a struggling 16 handicap golfer I was frustrated that things were going backwards.
A friend of a friend recommended Lora to give me a few lessons. The judges in Strictly insist that the contestants cannot perform till their frame and posture is correct. For the first time in a golf lesson this was the same observation by Lora about a(my) golf swing.
It's uncanny that Lora can spot any flaw or bad habit you may have picked up There is no hiding place. Golf lessons are fun and I always leave feeling motivated and hopeful.i am enjoying golf again thanks to Lora
Hey lora these lessons you give us they are amazing mainly because you make it so easy to enjoy them and we go home wanting to do the lessons again and again and then when it comes to lesson time we want it to go on forever. She is also so supportive when you are not feeling above the moon and will cheer you up no matter what. So If anyone wants to learn golf and have fun at the same time I highly recommend Lora. She is in my opinion the best teacher you could ask for.

Hi Lora the lessons are amazing and you make it really easy and fun the reason that I like the lesson is because we go on the golf cause a lot which is amazing and wow do very fun lessons so thx Lora.
Archie – age 8
Our 2 boys have been having lessons with Lora for years now, with a break in between when she emigrated to Presto (Much to the boys despair)! They never really settled anywhere else and as soon we heard Lora was back on town there was only one coach for them!! Both got great technique but more importantly, lots of happy memories.

When I had my first lesson with Lora my grip needed adjusting and once she did that I was hitting my shots better than I had before. If you come and join in and have a lesson with Lora you won’t regret it as every time I have had a lesson with her I have giggled more than ever with the other boys and girls in my group. I have found that since I have had lessons off Lora my golf has got better and better each time. The best part about it Lora makes sure you have fun whether your in groups or on your own. Every Thursday when I have had a lesson in a group Lora will make little competitions so then at the end of it you will get a prize!!This year Lora did a day where we had fun and learned more about golf and had cake. This day helped me a lot because we got a little note books to put feedback we got from peers who we played with and from Lora to help you be resilient and look back at your mistakes. Overall I think you should come along and join in the fun with Lora and make new friends as you come along. This will help you make big improvements and learn more to become a better golfer.

Lora has been exceptional in supporting us and guidance to move forwards when confidence in oneself has been rock bottom.
We are so fortunate to of met Lora she is so supportive, kind with a heart of gold. Lora is so down to earth you feel really comfortable in the company of such a successful professional player.

My name is Leah and I'm 11 years old .over the past few years,Lora has really helped me to improve my game. In lora's lessons we look at the physical and mental side of golf as well as learning some great techniques. I started this season off a 25 handicap and with Lora's help have come down to 15. I have played well in many Lancashire schools competitions and have played in the European kids championship where I shot my best ever gross of 84. Lora has helped me a lot over the last few years and I always look forward to my lessons with her.
Leah Butler – age 11 – handicap 15
Lora, meeting you has changed my life ! No need to worry about asking someone to come away on a golf trip. All I have to worry about is to get myself to airport and the holiday begins! From not knowing anyone to meeting people from far and wide. Most importantly making new friends. We had coaching, competitions and filled with fun and laughter.
One very important thing Lora you have given me hope, confidence, belief and a feel good factor!
Thank you and you are tops!!!

Lora is a brilliant coach who always gives 110%.
She has been a very successful professional player in the past. As a result she can call upon her vast and varied experiences to enhance her coaching sessions for players of all abilities. I have already been on 4 of her coaching holidays in Spain and am booked to go on another later this year. These trips have all been fabulous. Lora is the perfect host and always makes sure that everyone is having a good time. She does a coaching session every day on whatever aspects of the game the group require. She also goes out on the course with us to observe our game and gives feedback and advice.
She has a wicked sense of humour and anyone who goes on holiday with her is guaranteed to have a great time.
Lora THANK YOU so much for your guidance and patience - you really are an inspirational Coach.
Having started lessons with Lora when my game was at rock bottom really set me off on the right track, as I've now won my first Major Club Board Competition and lowered my handicap to 22!
Lora doesn't just give you a quick fix and send you on your way. She goes into detail about all aspects of the golf swing so that you totally understand what you should do and also, realising what you've done when you hit a bad shot in order to correct it. As well as being an awesome golf coach Lora has brilliant people skills, her positively is infectious and as long as I've known her she has been 100% supportive and committed to my golf game. Lora is so much fun to be with and makes any coaching session a fantastic balance of golf skill and enjoyment of a game that she is totally passionate about.
I also highly recommend her Golfing Holidays; I'm off to El Rompido in November which will be my 3rd trip - Lora only takes a small number at a time enabling her to give everyone individual assistance. Again she gives her all to ensure you all have a great time. I believe these trips have also significantly improved my game technically and mentally.
Thanks again Lora - you're an awesome Coach

Give yourself and your golf a new lease of life and treat yourself to lessons with Lora.
Your drives will be straight down the middle, puts will hit the back of the cup and if you do happen to bunker a shot escape is easy.
Since I went to Lora I have dropped 2 shots and winning Lady Captains this year means I have won once in every decade since 1974.
Take my word it will be the best present you could ever buy yourself.
P.S. Lora is also a lovely lady

After 50 year’s of golf and recently being in the doldrums,
I’ve realised that it’s never too late to have another go - and hey presto, due to your interest and encouragement, I’ve just reduced my handicap and won a prestigious prize.... Thankyou Lora
Sandy Bowie – 17 handicap
Lora's no nonsense approach to coaching has enabled me to fully understand how to improve my golf game enabling me to see positive results quickly.

Having had a difficult time with my golf for a while, Laura helped me make an almost immediate improvement. Thanks to Laura I have dropped my handicap by 2 shots this year and won a board comp! Laura takes a genuine interest in my game and can see exactly what is needed. Thanks Lora.
Lora's achievements in the professional field are pretty amazing, but it is her teaching that sets her above the rest. A good golf pro does not just need the technical knowledge and ability to teach golf, but they also need an understanding of human nature and how to adapt that technical knowledge to suit the individual and their swing. Golf is not a 'one size fits all' sport afterall!
Lora is always there for you whether it is a lesson on the range or a playing lesson, but she's also a good head coach. The number of times I've phoned her before a big comp just to get some words of wisdom or even just to calm me down. She helps me 'keep it real'. I don't know any other pro who does as much for her students as Lora - a definite 100% recommendation.

I felt that you had a genuine interest in wanting my golf to improve.
You were honest in your assessment of what I was doing wrong, but more importantly, you provided me with a simple method of how to improve. You then encouraged me to practice for a few weeks rather than simply go and play another round of golf.
The best example of this would be Short Game: Shots around the green.
You were honest in telling me that I needed to buy a 60 degree wedge . I needed the 'correct tools' to do the job.
The simple realignment of my grip has resulted in me feeling more confident to aim for the target, rather than aiming left, in order to compensate for my left to right fade. My shots are much straighter than they used to be.
In summary, your lessons have made me feel more confident on the course and have provided me with the method and competence to shoot a lower score.
Phil Holt – age 50
I cannot honestly remember why I first went to Lora for a lesson. Apart from a couple of “emergencies”when my usual Pro was away, I had been having lessons with the same person for about 10years.
After my first lesson with Lora I still wasn’t sure, it all seemed a bit simple! She had concentrated on parts of my game & swing that I didn’t think were where the problem was!! Next I joined a couple of group lessons & still whether it was the less technical way she taught & that I wasn’t used to I wasn’t too sure. Next I had an opportunity to go on one of her Golf holidays where there was tuition and a chance to play on nice dry, sunny courses.
Now I understand her method of teaching and have to admit it works!
Since my first holiday in Spain I have had several lessons with Lora, I now feel she understands my game and more importantly how I view my game.
Some of my lessons have been “help, it’s all going wrong “, others have been to tidy up at the beginning and end of the season. Each lesson has been constructive and helpful. Not too much change, just enough to make you think about what you are doing and make you want to work on it. They are very much based on giving you the grounding so that the more you the work on what you have been told then you can progress to the next stage.
Lora also considers how you view your game and is quick to pick up on the mental aspects of how that and your personality generally affects the way you play, for me this has been a particularly beneficial aspect of my lessons.
I now only go to Lora for lessons, her methods work for me. Each lesson usually involves her asking me what I think I have a problem with, she listens, let’s you hit your shots, asks how they compare with what you are doing wrong and then she starts to put it right....simple.. No great technical angles and stuff which I thought I needed, more drills and practice which for me has worked.
What is also nice is the support that she gives even if you aren’t having a lesson, just get in touch. The golf holidays which Lora organises are great fun. Not high pressure stuff, you put in and get out of them what you want but the opportunity to learn and improve is there as well as the chance to play golf at a time when it would be wet and miserable at home.
The ones at the beginning of the year allow you to get some Pre season coaching and playing in. The main aim is enjoyment, the golf is the bonus! I have met ladies on these holidays from other clubs all over the country, we are now friends and have even had reunion golf days and repeat holidays so it can’t all be hard work! Plus the hotels and resorts chosen add that bit of relaxation after a hard day on the course.
